Speaker

Sander is currently Vice President of Sales in Neste, a Finnish Refining and Renewables company and the most sustainable energy company in the world.  Before joining Neste, Sander worked for Honeywell, Total and Albemarle in a variety of Research & Technology, Sales, and Business leadership roles. Sander holds a MSc and PhD in Chemistry from Utrecht University and an Executive MBA degree from HEC Lausanne (Class of 2016).

Nadia Plata is the founder and director of the Climate Show (www.climateshow.ch), Eptes Research (www.eptesresearch.com) and Eptes Analytical (www.eptes.com). Nadia holds a PhD in Technical Science (EPFL), an EMBA in Finance and Management (HEC Lausanne, Class of 2007) and a Bachelor/Diploma in Swiss Law and Environmental law.

 

Max is Chief Operating Officer at Cellestia Biotech AG, Basel, Switzerland. He holds a Master in Biology (1993), a PhD from the Swiss Institute of Experimental Cancer Research (1997), and an EMBA from HEC Lausanne (Class of 2016). He has more than 20 years’ experience in operations, biopharma and life science. Most recently, Max served as Associate-Director at Debiopharm International SA, in-licensing new oncology programs (2006 – 2008), and leading the Early Projects team from 2008 to 2015.

The HEC Lausanne Executive MBA Alumni Association and the Zürich+Basel chapters are glad to present the next event: the “EMBA Alumni Experience” conference in the German-speaking part of Switzerland!

Three Alumni from the EMBA program of the HEC Lausanne will be sharing their experiences with their peers after the completion of the EMBA.

3.15: brief introduction by Massimiliano De Gaspari (class of 2017)

3.20-3.40: talk by Sander van Donk (class of 2016), VP Sales and Executive Leader at Neste

3.40-4.00: talk by Nadia Plata (class of 2007), Director at Climate Show, Eptes Research and Analytical 

4.00-4.20: talk by Maximilien Murone (class of 2016), COO Cellestia Biotech

4.20-5.00: panel discussion with questions from the audience to the speakers

5.00-6.00: networking apéro

How to reach the venue: we recommend you reach the Hotel Schweizerhof by public transport. Alternatively, you can travel by car and park it in one of the parking lots of the station or of the City. The hotel itself does not offer parking spots.
