Event Details

Dear MBA Alumni, Dear Friends of the association,

It is with a great pleasure that the conference tonight will illustrate how a company created more than 50 years ago by the watch industry will present why they felt the need to re-position themselves and how they’ve done it in an industry that is key for the development of every company: the Business Intelligence.

The presentation will show the evolution and new processes of the business intelligence; the new Big Data challenges as well as the opportunities created by the access to sources of information such as Patents, Literature and the Deep Web.

How to identify areas that will put you ahead of the Competition? Some directions will be presented and discussed!

In the second part of the evening, we will showcase how this automatized patent intelligence process is applied to the Technology Foresight program (DEFTECH – DEfence Future TECHnology) within armasuisse Science and Technology. The challenge here is to anticipate future technology trends early enough in order to build the necessary competences to support the requirements of the Swiss Armed Forces.

The conference is free of charge if you are an active (i.e.: paid 2015 membership) member of the MBA-HEC alumni association, a student of the classes 2015 or 2016, or if you are part of the MoT alumni association.

For non-members except students of the years 2015 and 2016, a fee of 30 CHF will be charged.

We look forward to seeing you at this event for an interesting and challenging exchange!
